Certification

In 1993, the entire company operation succeeded in gaining certification from the German Organization for the Certification of Management Systems (DOS) in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9002, the current DIN EN ISO 9001:2000, thus making it the first company in the German food sector to do so.

Since 2004, Berning has been certified to the maximum-level IFS (Internationaler Food Standard) norms. The most recent certification process took place in May 2011.
